Travel Nurse State Licensure

As your nurse recruiters, we want to make the process of getting licensed as convenient as possible. Travel nurse licensing timeframes and terminology can be confusing, so our team is here to help you learn everything you need to know about applying for a license in a new state.

eNLC Implementation: Important News for Travel Nurses

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) has announced the new Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), which will replace the original NLC with the long-term goal of enabling all 50 states to enact the eNLC. Click here to read more about how this affects travel nurses.

Please note that timeframes for verifications, transcripts, and background checks can affect the processing times for travel nurses, and each person’s situation may vary slightly. Please consult your recruiter to get more detailed information.

NOTE: Orange = eNLC State
Blue = Pending eNLC State

Timeframes are subject to change, so contact the Board of Nursing if you have any questions.
