This RN took her husband, packed their bags and took to the road to see the country.  Eight years later, she's still going strong!  For J Nealy, traveling as an RN started out so that she and her husband could see some of the country (and that her huband could fish from coast to coast), and then progressed to see specific sites like the Grand Canyon and Hollywood, CA.  She's also traveled to RI, CO, MD, OH, and CT.  When asked about what she likes best about traveling, she responds, "Traveling is a total change of everything.  You meet new people, learn new procedures and get to work in many different environments."  Her advice to new travelers is, "Don't get discouraged.  Nursing is rough, but there will be tough assignments and great assignments.  Just get through the first two weeks, and you settle in to your new environment.  It always works out.  Just keep going.  Once you meet a few people, it's like you're back at home.  I''ve worked a number of repeat (renewed) assignments."  When asked about what she likes best about Cirrus, she states, "I can usually get in touch with a live person instead of a machine.  Even if I can't speak to my recruiter at the moment, someone will help me.  In addition, they're very responsive.  Cirrus makes it easy to travel."
